Description
Charlie Grosso is the Founder and Executive Director of Hello Future, an NGO providing digital literacy skills to refugee youth. The assumption that people nowadays are all technologically savvy does not always extend to the Middle East where there are larger refugee communities. After moving to Istanbul in 2016, Charlie did not think that an educational nonprofit and all the impact Hello Future has made would be in her path. This episode reminds us of the "false pretense of borders" that regulate the anti-immigrant climate we currently live in; Charlie advocates for a global community, and with Hello Future, she is transforming the refugee experience.
